Welcome, Wittenberg Tiger! We are thrilled that you have chosen to continue your education at Wittenberg University.

Destination Wittenberg is the New Student Orientation program that helps first-time freshmen and transfer students begin to acclimate to life as a Wittenberg University scholar. This one-day program, held on campus, begins at 8:15 am with check-in and concludes at 4:30 pm.

First-time freshmen and transfer students must participate in this program because it is the kick-off of their successful transition to Wittenberg University. Family members are encouraged to attend, as well! The program is designed to help students begin to develop their identities as a Wittenberg student through sessions on academics and student life, tours of the Wittenberg campus, meeting with Wittenberg faculty and advisors, and connecting with Wittenberg staff and peers.

    Destination Wittenberg Commitment:

    • Connect with campus resources and work through other enrollment services to prepare each student and family to start college in August.

    • Allow students to connect with their advisor, learn about the curriculum, academic expectations and resources, and receive their fall class schedule.

    • Assist students in engaging with all that Wittenberg has to offer, along with their peers, to build a solid foundation to start this new chapter post-high school.

*Please note: Destination Witt is free of charge for the student and up to three guests. Each additional guest will be charged a $20 fee.
